  • Our fluffy friend pays a visit!

    We have quite recently been advertising for new staff to come and join our team and it would appear that everyone's trying to get in on the act....

    This little visitor turned up at our door yesterday!  Even though she didn't appear CV in hoof, she was quite keen to have a good sniff around the kitchen garden.

    Of course, we were delighted to say hello.  It's just one more wonderful aspect of living in the beautiful Lake District.

    Don't forget, we're open tomorrow so do pop in and see us for coffee, cake or something a bit more substantial!  We look forward to seeing you.

  • We're back and raring to go!

    We know, it's been a while........but, we're delighted to announce that we're open from tomorrow and raring to go!

    Do take a note of our opening hours over the next couple of weeks:

    Open - every day until 25 February 10am - 5pm (closed 14th and 21st February)

    Hopefully, we will be able to accommodate all the half-term holidays across the UK!  We really look forward to welcoming you back into Green's for some delicious homemade dishes.

  • Make way for a Makeover!

    You might have noticed and from reading our blogs, that we're currently closed at Green's whilst we take stock of an extremely busy 2012 and plan some changes for the current year.

    In addition to testing out some delicious new recipes, we are going to be breathing new life into the cafe - both inside and out!

    By the time we throw our doors open again in February, we will have updated, refreshed and revitalised, in the hope of providing an even more enjoyable experience when you visit us.

    Do come by and let us know what you think!

  • January Opening Hours

    A Very Happy New Year to all of our lovely customers!

    Do make a note of our opening hours throughout January.  We certainly wouldn't wish for you to turn up hoping for delicious homemade food, only to be disappointed!

    We will be closed from: Sunday 6th January, opening again on Saturday 2nd February.

    In the meantime, keep an eye on our website and facebook pages for news and updates.

  • November and December Opening Hours

    So that you know exactly when you can come and enjoy delicious dishes at Greens leading up to Christmas, take a look at our opening hours for November and December, so that you aren't disappointed if you turn up and we're closed:

    November: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday - 10:00-16:30; Wednesday and Thursday -CLOSED

    December: 1-26 December - CLOSED; 27 December-7 January - 10:00-16:30

    Ideally, we'd like to be open all day 365 days a year to keep our lovely customers happy, but following an exceptionally busy year, we're going to take a little bit of a breather before coming back raring to go!

    We've got lots of exciting new plans for 2013 and can't wait to share these with you all!
