  • HOORAH! We're open!

    Following a short period of closure, we're delighted to say that we're throwing open our doors tomorrow - Friday 6th February - to welcome the crowds!

    Rest assured, we haven't been sitting on our laurels though - we've been busy, busy, busy, redecorating the café and dreaming up a new collection of tasty tummy teasers.  Stand by for those!

    Note also that we will be open Saturday 7th, Sunday 8th, Monday 9th and all week from Friday 13th - Monday 23rd February inclusive and some evenings (Friday 13th, Saturday 14th, Monday 16th and Friday 20th).

    IF you would like to bring a party of 10 or more along any other evening, please contact us on 015394 35790 and we can discuss your requirements.

  • Half term opening hours at Green's!

    If you can believe it, half term is almost upon us.  Deep breaths all round!

    It's easy to keep everyone happy however, knowing that Green's will be operating extended opening hours for the week.

    We will be open 7 days and the following evenings from 6pm (Saturday 25th, Sunday 26th, Monday 27th, Thursday 30th and Friday 31st inclusive) serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.

    Take your pick, or join us for all 3!  We look forward to seeing you.

  • Nobody's Fool!

    Check out the latest sweet treat to adorn the dessert menu for our evening diners.

    Homemade 'Gooseberry and Elderflower Fool', served with a shortbread biscuit, damson coulis and mint.

    It's a perfect serving for summer and at £5.95, you'd be a 'fool' not to snap it up (sorry!)

    Don't forget we are open tomorrow evening for dinner, from 6.

  • Summer Salads are hot at Green's

    We're coming over all summery at Green's this month and with the weather as it is, it's hardly surprising.

    So, we've been flexing our gardener's muscles and getting all herby!

    Tomato and mozzarella with fresh basil is one of life's simplest and yet, greatest pleasures and we're serving it up at Green's.

    With the basil created by our very own hands, it couldn't be more organic.  And, we don't think this dish will be hanging around for too long!

  • FREE face painting is back at Greens!

    From 8th June, for evening opening, we will once again be offering FREE face painting for the kids!

    From 6pm, our resident face painting expert, Beth, will be showing off her talents on all willing happy little faces.

    It's just one of the little extra's that we offer at Greens.  Happy children and happy parents!

    Booking for dinner is advised, but not essential.  We look forward to seeing you!

  • New Evening Opening Schedule

    We have put in place our evening opening hours to the end of July, as follows:

    Sunday 25th May and Wednesday 28th May - Open from 6pm

    Sunday 1st June and Wednesday 4th June - Open from 6pm

    Week beginning Sunday 8th June through to the end of July, we will be open every Sunday, Monday and Tuesday evenings from 6pm!

    Don't forget that if you are a large party wishing to dine with us in the evening out of these hours, call us on 015394 35790 and we will do our best to accommodate you.

  • National Vegetarian Week - 19-25 May

    National Vegetarian Week will soon be upon us - 19-25 May and as usual, we will be working away at Green's creating a range of delicious vegetarian delights.

    We serve a vast range of healthy options for all dietary requirements.  For lunch, why not tuck into our ever popular vegetarian shepherds pie?

    In the evening, sample our warm goats cheese salad, put lentil rissoles or share a vegetarian platter with the one you love.

    Whatever your choice, there are plenty of dishes to get excited about this week.

  • Evening handmade chocs

    Did you know that we serve homemade chocolates in the evening's at Greens?  We didn't think so.

    Our homemade chocolate truffles are lovingly created by our very own hands and are now available for evening opening, following dinner and accompanying coffee.

    Don't forget that we are open for dinner from 26th, Sunday through to Wednesday from 6 and you can find the current menu on the website.

  • Winter Warmer madness at Greens!

    Our winter warmers - 2 courses for £10 - have been a massive hit throughout the soggy season.

    The good news is, that we will be continuing our winter warmer specials right the way through Easter, so if you haven't taken advantage of this offer yet, there's still plenty of time!

    Don't forget that we are open throughout the weekend and for dinner tonight.  You can see all of our opening hours throughout the season on the 'opening hours' page of the website!

    We are happy to be able to provide our opening hours throughout the season.

    However, do note that if you are a party of 8 or more and wish to dine with us on an evening when we are NOT open, we will happily open to accommodate you!
