    From 12th June, Greens of Grasmere is going to be open 7 days a week!  That's great news for hardened fans of our child-friendly, dog-friendly, vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free cafe!

    More great news is that we will also be opening in the evenings (weekends only) from 22nd June which is perfect for an early supper if you've just come off the fells.

    Also perfect for families with little ones who can enjoy good home cooked food at Greens.  We have paper and pencils to keep the children entertained, whilst you enjoy a glass of wine or beer.

    So, come on in.....we're open!

    We are very excited to be able to offer a new vegan and gluten free pudding - our homemade chocolate and cranberry brownie!  Available with Swedish Glace Vanilla Vegan ice cream!  Seriously delicious!  Form an orderly queue..........

  • Grasmere Picnic Plate!

    We are delighted to announce a new and exciting addition to the menu - the "Grasmere Picnic Plate"!  A delicious platter with a little bit of everything you fancy!

    This is our take on afternoon tea and includes a finger sandwich, sausage roll, crisps, cake and tea or coffee.  Available for our gluten free and vegan friends too!  And all for just £7.95.

    One of our local Producers is featured in Cumbria Life Magazine this month (March edition). On page 94 there's a full page feature as Sarah Hunter of Hunter's Puddings,  gets "A Gentle Grilling..." This is hot on the heels of Hunter's winning 'Pudding of the Year 2012' in the Cumbria Life Food & Drink Awards.
