• Happy Half Term Holidays

    A little bird told us that some of you are lucky enough to have two weeks off for October half term. We will be open from 9:30 am  to 5:00 pm Friday to Wednesday, closed on Thursday. We will be ready to serve Breakfast for all diets every morning, taking our last food orders at 4:30pm. We look forward to seeing you all serving comfort food for all, Vegan, Vegetarian, Gluten Free

  • A quick update + Pancake Day!

    Hello, everyone!

    We're so happy to be back open again after our brief time closed and have been busy redecorating and creating yummy new dishes for our menu.

    Our opening hours have changed slightly and for the coming months will be as follows:

    Monday: 9:30 - 16:30
    Tuesday: 9:30 - 16:30
    Wednesday: CLOSED
    Thursday: CLOSED
    Friday: 9:30 - 16:30
    Saturday: 9:30 - 16:30
    Sunday: 9:30 - 16:30

    Please don't hesitate to contact us on 015394 35790 or at info@greensgrasmere.com if you'd like to reserve a table - we highly recommend this if you are a large group in order to avoid disappointment!

    With Pancake Day just around the corner, we'd also like to let you know that we will be serving pancakes in our cafe all day Tuesday with the options of lemon and sugar, Nutella, and gluten-free options will be available too!

  • School holiday opening hours

    During the school holidays from Friday 15th July – Wednesday 9th September we will be opening EVERDAY

    Which gives you plenty of time to pop in and see us at the café!

    We have a wide range of options on our children's menu for them hungry tummies and also a selection of colouring to keep them entertained!

    We are child and dog friendly, a perfect place for the whole family to relax and enjoy some food or even just a cake and cup of tea

  • Easter Opening Hours

    We are busy baking in our kitchen and looking forward to seeing you all this Easter.  We will be open from Good Friday March 25th until Monday April 4th from 9:30 - 5:30, reopening on Wednesday April 6th until Wednesday April 13th. We look forward to seeing you all and hope you are looking forward to our new vegan and gluten free delights.

  • FREE facepainting at Green's

    It's not all about the adults at Green's, you know.

    We are offering for our younger patrons, free facepainting from 6pm on Friday, Saturday, Monday and Tuesday evenings.

    Great for the little ones and even better for Mum and Dad who can relax with a chilled glass of wine whilst the kids are entertained with a pre-dinner treat!

  • The Easter Rainbow Cake is revealed!

    Did you guess what it was??!

    We have had great fun in the Green's test kitchen creating this colourful wonder and not only does it look incredible, it tastes pretty good too!

    Layer upon layer of delicious colourful sponge cake, with frosting and topped off with smarties and chocolate eggs.

    Who'd have thought colour in the kitchen could be so much fun!

  • Open all week of October Half Term!

    The October Half Term is almost upon us and we're chomping at the bit at Greens to accommodate your every culinary whim!

    So, in order to keep up with demand, we have decided to open for the entire week from Saturday 27th October right through to Monday 5th November.

    As  ever, we will be serving all your foodie favourites and spicing things up with some extra yummy and delicious winter warmers.

    So, bring your family, friends, kids and dogs!  We look forward to making your half term break extra special!

     

    (Please note that due to a family bereavement, we will not be open on Friday 19th October)

  • Greens launches handmade chocolates!

    As if a night out at Greens with delicious homemade food and a great selection of wines isn't enough of a treat, there is yet more to look forward to from the Greens kitchen!

    Handmade chocolate truffles are now going to be available for evening opening, following dinner and accompanying coffee.  Lovingly crafted by our very own hands, we think it's a nice little touch!

    So pop in and join us for dinner.  We are open on Friday and Saturday evening and you can find the current menu on the website.  We look forward to seeing you!

  • We're open this Wednesday Evening!

    There's no better feeling than when your favourite bistro decides to unexpectedly throw open its doors!

    And that's exactly what we're doing this Wednesday, having been inundated with requests and bookings!

    And to top it all, there's a delicious new evening menu to sink your teeth into.
